Icons were developed and deployed firmwide along with guidelines and documentation for drafting additional icons. My team reviewed icon submissions from designers in all territories globally, approved or modified them as required, and managed the deployment of the icon library as it evolved.
Guidelines ensured icons would have a consistent look across the library, and would reproduce at all sizes, in both print and online.
I hand illustrated hundreds of icons to represent PwC's core values, industries, business sectors, and people. Icons were developed to work as a cohesive system, with visual consistency in style.
The icon library became part of the visual identity at PwC, and was used in office signage throughout North America. Icons were ultimately used not only by employees worldwide in countless proposals and communications documents, but also by designers for entire campaigns in all mediums.
